My name is Dan Warlick and I am the Dorm Operations Coordinator.
I am currently in my 11th year in residential life, ranging from dorm parent to director of residential life. Working in this type of role is my true calling in life. I've worked in a variety of school types and enjoy being part of students' adventurous growth and development years. This is my first year with Hampshire Country School.
I have also taught English for grades 5, 8, & 9, plus journalism for grades 5-12. My degree is in communication from Western Carolina University and I also took graduate courses in it for two years at Utah State University. I was a Boy Scout leader and/or professional for 20 years, part of which included many years of running summer camps.
I am a North Carolina native who has lived in seven states. When not on campus, I enjoy exercising with a trainer, all aquatic activities, and exploring locally owned restaurants.
Fun fact: While others absorb sports trivia and statistics, one of my biggest quirk is recalling useless TV & film trivia. |
